- Description
- The Government intends to issue a competitive one (1) year base with six (6)-one year options requirements solicitation on or about 20 March 2020 with a close date of 20 April 2020 for the Repair of the KC-135 Rate of Flow Transmitter. Upon issuance of the solicitation, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.� This notice of intent does not in itself represent the issuing of a formal request for proposal and is not intended to be taken as such. The requirements set forth in this notice are defined per PR FD2030-20-00498 as follows: 1) This is an overhaul requirement; Overhaul is the refurbishment of an item or assembly which includes but is not limited to: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, modification and replacement of parts. This also includes reassemble and test of the end item and its components in accordance with applicable TOs and directives. OMBUDSMAN (AUG 2005) (An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.) The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
