Description
The purpose of this modification is to add the below RFI information which was inadvertently excluded from previous posting, provide answers to questions (see attached Q&A doc) �and extend the RFI. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. �THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) � Carlisle Barracks located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to determine the availability of potential businesses for Hotel Lodging for the US Army War College (UAWC) National Security Staff Ride (NSSR) 2021-2023, in Washington, DC. The information gathered will be used to make an informed business decisions on how to procure this requirement. The market research will assist in determining availability of firms that are capable of providing hotel/lodging services in support of the 2021-2023 NSSR.�� PURPOSE: This notice is for planning and informational purposes only and SHALL NOT be considered as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Request for Proposal (RFP). There is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this RFI. Your responses to this RFI will be treated as information only. The results of the market research will be used to determine the best overall acquisition strategy. The Government is seeking responses to this RFI from all interested businesses capable of providing the requirement. Small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business, etc.) are highly encouraged to identify capabilities in meeting the requirements at a fair market price. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: To provide lodging and meeting space for the United States Army War College (USAWC) National Security Staff Ride class trip to be held in the Washington D.C. area in the spring of 2021-2023. Note: No Third Party quotes will be accepted on any future solicitation for this requirement. Please see attached draft Purchase Description for detailed information. The draft �Purchase Description is subject to minor changes. �Information to Provide with your Response: 1.� Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. 2.� Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not.� Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any. 3.� Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination.� 4.� Cost estimate 5.� Recommendations to improve the approach/specifications/draft Purchase Description to acquiring the identified items. SUBMISSION REQUIRMENTS: Responses to this announcement must be received no later than the date and time specified in the notice. Interested firms should submit responses via email only to dahalia.k.trevenen.civ@mail.mil and larry.l.brown9.civ@mail.mil. No telephone requests will be honored. Respondents are encouraged to review the information requested above carefully and ensure a complete response. The Government will not review general capability statements, please ensure submissions are tailored to this requirement(s) of the above request. Questions regarding this RFI announcement shall be submitted NLT 4:00p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, 13 March 2020. After this deadline, questions regarding this announcement will not be considered.
