Green Springs Guard Rotary Valve Modernization Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region-Green Springs Power Plant Rogue River Project, Oregon Green Springs Guard Rotary Valve Modernization - This announcement is to small business, 8(a) Small Business, HUBZone Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns that may be interested in performing a contract for the Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region of the Bureau of Reclamation. The work to be performed is described below. Based upon response to this announcement, the Government may determine to set this acquisition aside or proceed with an unrestricted solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the related small business size standard is $39.5M. This notice is NOT a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. The estimated cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work is located at Green Springs Power Plant approximately 12 miles southeast of Ashland, Oregon in Jackson County. Interested parties should include the following information in their response: (a) Business name, address, DUNS#, cage code, size classification based on NAICS size standard, socioeconomic classification (i.e. HUBZone and/or 8(a)), and a point of contact; (b) A positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (c) Brief capabilities statement that addresses experience performing similar projects as a prime contractor; and (d) Construction bonding level, aggregate and per contract. All interested parties are encouraged to respond to this notice, by e-mail to VKEEN@USBR.GOV not later than 12:00 PM MST on 03/17/2020. The information provided in this announcement is all information the Government has available at this time. There are no specifications, drawings, bid packages, or source lists available. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. SYNOPSIS OF WORK The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region requires Green Springs Guard Rotary Valve Modernization. The work to be performed includes: Removal of all guard rotary valve components and associated wiring; remove, disassemble, and installation of the 32-inch rotary valve and components; fabricate new stainless steel seat and seal; furnish and install equipment for the one guard rotary valve; refurbish existing hand pump backup and water actuated main hydraulic cylinder; furnish cast steel wedge gate valve and steel spacer to isolate existing bypass valve; refurbish or replace cast steel wedge gate valve; refurbish or replace electrically operated bypass valve; furnish and install conduit and conductors for power circuits; furnish and install control and power wiring; terminate all cabling required for turn-key installation; furnish spare parts; furnish drawings and data; train Government personnel; field testing of the turbine guard rotary valve and associated equipment. The work window is October 15 through November 30.
