- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward J. Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, VISN 12, 5000 South 5th Ave. Hines, Illinois 60141-5000, under the authority of FAR 13 (41 U.S.C. 1901 and implemented for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2)), intends to request quotation on a sole source basis with ScriptPro USA INC to facilitate the maintenance and repair of the Edward J. Hines, Jr. VA Hospital ScriptPro equipment. NAICS 811219, with a size standard of $22,000,000.00 applies. ScriptPro USA Inc. is a technology company specializing in pharmacy automation and management systems. The ScriptPro equipment is proprietary and may only be purchased through ScriptPro or from one of its authorized distributors. ScriptPro is the sole source service provider of the ScriptPro Customer Technical Support Plan. As the OEM, ScriptPro is the only source for maintenance/updates, or modifications and upgrades to their system(s). ScriptPro USA Inc will provide maintenance, repair and upgrades to the ScriptPro equipment deployed at the Edward J. Hines, Jr. VA Hospital. Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, supervision, material, test equipment, and emergency services, including transportation cost necessary to perform maintenance and repairs. Services are to be provided in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this contract. Any respondent to this notice must show that they have the capability to provide a program of scheduled and/or unscheduled maintenance to the ScriptPro Equipment as an authorized maintenance service provider. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 pm (Noon) CDT on Friday March 20, 2020. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
