- This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition - one responsible source.�� The applicable NAICS Code is 9261510 Licensing, and Inspection of Miscellaneous Commercial Sectors,.� The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) � Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA intends to award a sole source contract to: American Correctional Association 206 N. Washington Street Alexandria, VA 22314 The MCI-NCR RCO intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."" This requirement is for the procurement of the American Corrections Association (ACA) Audit at Camp Pendleton, California. These ACA audits are intended to be used for confinement facility compliance as they relate to congressional mandates on the operations of Military Confinement Facilities.� The scope of work shall consist of furnishing all professional services, labor, equipment, and materials, and performing all necessary travel and associated services required to identify the compliancy of the Military Confinement Facilities against current ACA standards and criteria. Procurement planning for the follow-on effort is currently in process, and award is expected to be made on or around March 25, 2020, in accordance with fair opportunity under Far Part 13 procedures. The contract is for a period of a base year from 01 June 2020 through 30 September 2020.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.� Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to owen.trotman@usmc.mil no later than 20 March 2020, 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.� Late responses will not be considered.
