Description
FEMA recognizes that the spread of COVID-19 may affect contractor employees who are working under FEMA contracts.� While contract performance should not be impacted, FEMA highly encourages the contractor to have a preparedness plan in place to ensure uninterrupted performance.� If there are interruptions, anticipated interruptions or otherwise reasons where performance cannot occur, then compliant with existing contract terms and conditions, the contractor is to communicate such to the Contracting Officer (CO) and the appointed Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR) in order that the matter can be addressed contractually.� Additionally, should the contractor become aware that one of the contractor�s employees who provides support under this FEMA contract has either contracted COVID-19 or has been in the direct presence of any person who has contracted COVID-19, such that the contractor employee is unable to continue work, then the contractor must notify FEMA within 24 hours of the contractor becoming aware of the matter. �The notification is to include the following information at a minimum � but shall not include the contractor employee�s personally identifiable information (PII) such as the contractor employee�s name and/or address:� Contract Number Task or Delivery Order Number, as applicable Task or Delivery Order title or description, as applicable Date(s) the contractor employee accessed government space Location of space accessed by contractor employee Identification of equipment accessed by the contractor employee (e.g. laptops, printers, tablets, etc.) Statement as to whether the contractor employee has any government equipment in his/her possession (e.g. laptops, printers, tablets, etc.) Statement on how the current performance and delivery schedule will be maintained. � Note:� In the case that a contractor employee has been removed from the FEMA contract and is in possession of government equipment, the relevant Contracting Officer will issue guidance to direct the cleaning and disposition of such equipment.
