- Special Notice:� The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC) awarded a Purchase Order for the evaluation and repair of� 9 each ENCODER, PN: 20890-1, MODEL 1625H-14NB, ASN: R400-2A1A1A2A1 to Ruhle Companies, Inc.� Sole Source Justification:� This evaluation and repair service requires Ruhle Companies, Inc. proprietary parts to complete the repairs.� The Government only knows of one source that has access to these proprietary parts, Ruhle Companies, Inc. These devices were originally manufactured by Sequential Electronics Systems who went out of business on March 16, 2006.� Ruhle bought the proprietary rights to some of the parts for the Encoders from Sequential Electronics and will not release this information.
