- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Matthew's Arm Roof Replacement, Shenandoah National Park, VA - The work will take place at the Mathews Arm Waste Water Treatment Plant. The plant has a gated (locked chain, due to restricted/ authorized-only vehicular access) access off of the RV dump station loop road, within the Mathews Arm campground developed area within Shenandoah National Park, Virginia, in the proximity of Skyline Drive Milepost 22, approximately 9-1/2 miles north of Thornton Gap Entrance Station (Route 211 Interchange) and approximately 22 miles south of Front Royal Entrance Station (Route 340 Interchange). The work includes the roof replacement of the Matthew's Arm Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP); Base:Remove existing built-up roofing and replace with new Single-Ply Fully Adhered Membrane roof system. Bid option one: replace existing skylights as required by the contract documents. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process in accordance with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is a competitive total small business set-aside acquisition limited to small business firms. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the anticipated solicitation. NAICS CODE: 238160 Roofing Contractors with a small business size standard of $15M. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. DURATION: The contract performance period is expected to be 120 calendar days from notice to proceed. See FAR 52.236-27 for additional information. WAGE RATES: Davis Bacon wage rates apply and are included as part of this solicitation package, Page County, VA.
