- The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting proposals for construction firms having the capability to complete repairs to a cooling tower system at Gateway Arch National Park. Work consists of replacement of control valve, installation of conduit and wiring, installation of heat trace, installation of cooling water isolation bypass valves, piping, and other repairs. The site location is Gateway Arch National Park, 11 N. 4th St. St. Louis, MO 63102 Solicitation Number: 140P6220Q0009. The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Type of Acquisition: A negotiated (with the possibility to award without discussions), firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical approach, past performance, and price to determine the offer that represents the best value to the government. The NAICS code for this project is 238220 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is advertised as a 100% Small Business Set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on www.fbo.com or https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm on or about 23 March 2020.
