- Civil Works Branch (jfc) CENAP-CT-CW Beta.SAM FEB 06, 2020 Action Code: Pre-Solicitation Class Code: 3810 NAICS 333120 Subject: Pre-solicitation � CEMDC 3071 Knuckle Boom Marine Crane replacement for CEWNWS Seattle District Solicitation Number: W912BU-20-Q-0012 Set Aside: 100% Small Business Response Date: 24 February 2020 Place of Performance: US Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, Seattle, Washington Description of Work: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to initiate a procurement action for a new pedestal mounted knuckle boom marine crane for the Seattle District. The crane shall be manufactured to API 2C standards with monogram, shall include an independent 3rd party verification and ABS certification. The new crane is to replace the existing Link Belt HC-218 crane. It will be used for debris removal as well as routine maintenance and construction activities for the navigable channels, navigation locks, and breakwaters within the Puget Sound and surrounding vicinity. The solicitation is to be issued as a Request for Quotation(RFQ). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price type of contract. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-03 effective 13 December 2019. The contract duration of this construction is anticipated at approximately 420 calendar days and the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. This synopsis is being issued as a 100% Small Business set aside. The Solicitation Number W912BU-20-Q-0012 will be issued on or about 20 February 2020, however, this date is subject to change. Offerors should review the entire solicitation once it is posted. Hard copies will not be available and written or fax requests will not be accepted. The official media of distribution for this RFQ is the web. Contractors may download the solicitation (including any drawings/specifications) and any amendments via the beta.SAM web site at https://beta.sam.gov/ , on or after the issue date. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the beta.SAM web site for any amendments. All Interested contractors are required to be registered in the DOD System for Award Management (SAM) before award as required by FARS 4.605. Also, contractors who receive a federal contract in excess of $25,000.00 are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
