Description
The Government has a requirement for a replacement of the Modular Pulse Assembly (MPA) Control and Monitor (C&M) Circuit Card Assembly CCA. The purpose of this market survey is to assess industrys capability to manufacture a replacement of the MPA C&M CCA and to determine if adequate competition exists among qualified small business concerns to restrict the competition to small business participation only. A past modification of the MPA C&M CCA removed the ability to perform the klystron gun arcing procedure and eliminated the soft start function when the transmitter high voltage is turned on. The Government has a requirement for a replacement that will restore the MPA CCAs capability to complete the klystron gun arc processing procedure and resolve the high voltage adjustment lowest pulse forming network setting issue in order to complete the klystron gun arc processing procedure and to reduce klystron arcing. The Government is in the process of completing the design of the MPA CCA. A draft Manufacturing Specification and Bill of Materials (BOM) are included as part of this Market Survey and will be provided upon completion of the documentation requested in Section 6 of the Market Survey Attachment.
