- Old Solicitation #: SPE8ED19R0015 New Solicitation #: SPE8EG20R0008 The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support- Philadelphia is conducting a Sources Sought on commercial 20� and 40� shipping and storage containers, used by the U.S military and other federal government agencies within the Contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, the outlying areas, and throughout Europe, Africa, and the Pacific.� Contractors are requested to read and respond to the attached questionnaire and worksheet. All responses should be submitted in writing to DLA-TS point of contact Vanh.Thonthongchith@dla.mil or Tiffany.McFadden@dla.mil no later than COB Eastern Time, on 6 April 2020.� The purpose of this source sought notice is to gain knowledge of potential sources who can provide 20� and 40� commercial containers if a solicitation were to be issued.� This sources sought is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bid or proposals.� It is not to be interpreted as a commitment by the Government. �This sources sought notice contains the most current information available and will be the only information provided by the DLA.� Any responses received may be used as market research to determine an acquisition strategy. The Government anticipates that any resultant solicitation will be for multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts with post-award competition of delivery orders.� The acquisition may be for a period of 5 years and is estimated at approximately $60 million annually.� However, this estimate is based on current information available to the Contracting Officer, subject to change, and is not a guarantee. Contractors who believe they possess the demonstrated expertise, experience and capacity adequate to perform diligently are encouraged to submit a statement of their capabilities (Capability Statement) that could meet the Commercial Item Description (CID) of the eleven NSNs.� All responses shall address the attached Questionnaire and Worksheet (pricing, acquisition history, size status, manufacturer etc.) that will satisfy the requirements.� With its Capability Statement, an interested firm shall indicate that their Representations and Certifications in the Beta.SAM (beta.sam.gov/)/Contract Opportunities are current and state their size status:� Other than Small Business; Small Business; Small Disadvantage Business; Woman Owned Small Business; Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; or, HUBZone certified Small Business.� The Capability Statement itself shall not exceed five (5) pages in length.� Responders to this sources sought notice should include a Capability Statement and the following information: company name, address, point of contact, email address for that contact, DUNS Number, CAGE Code, phone number, and fax number.� �
