- A. The location of work is the Roza Diversion Dam, located on the Yakima River approximately thirteen miles from the city of Yakima Washington. B. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is conducting market research for the Fish Screen Electrical Support � Roza Diversion Dam Project. The overall purpose of this project is to replace the existing out-of-compliance drum screens and fish bypass system with a screening system that meets the requirements of the National Marine Fisheries Service while still meeting the needs of Yakima valley irrigators and power generators. This requirement has an order of magnitude between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. C. The Principle Components of Work to be performed included the following: 1. Move existing shipping container to a location designated by the COR. 2. Supply and install 12.47 kV conductors in conduit from existing mini-closure to new transformer at automatic transfer switch location. 3. Form and place concrete foundations for the emergency backup generator and transformer/breaker/automatic transfer switch. 4. Supply and install emergency backup generator, transformer, breaker, and automatic transfer switch, with all electrical connections. 5. Construct containment area around new foundations, including oil separation vault. 6. Construct storm drainage improvements, including piping, manholes, detention structures, and observation well. 7. Supply and install 480V conductors in conduit from automatic transfer switch to main screen panel. 8. Supply and install main screen panel with main breaker only. D. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for Fish Screen Electrical Support � Roza Diversion Dam Project. Reclamation is seeking a qualified, experienced firm capable of providing the labor, equipment, and materials necessary to accomplish the Principle Components of Work identified above and as identified within the project specifications and drawings. Interested offerors are invited to submit the following information: 1. Statement of interest as a prime and/or subcontractor 2. Construction bonding level, aggregate and per contract 3. Point of contact information 4. Size status and/or SBA certification program for NAICS 237130 5. Firms capability to successfully manage complex requirements 6. Recent projects similar in size and scope E. This market research is for informational purposes only. This announcement does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued, and shall not be construed as an RFP or IFB, or as an obligation on the part of the Government. Contractor Capability Statement. 1.2 Provide responses to the BOR generated questions found in attachment 3. Responses to the attached BOR generated questions will not be publicized. 1.3 Provide contractor capability statement, attachment 4. 1.3 If, after reviewing the draft specification section 35 21 42, Fish Screen Assembly, you desire to provide feedback and/or recommendations, you should provide these in written documentation electronically along with the completed attachments (3) and (4) to Eric G. Gonzalez at egonzalez@usbr.gov. 2.0 Description of Work 2.1 Performance shall be onsite at the Bureau of Reclamation, Roza Diversion Dam located on the Yakima River near the city of Yakima, Washington in Kittitas County. 2.2 Work includes structural concrete modification, handrail installation, fishscreen/gate valve assembly installation and electrical and communications support installation. 2.3 The order of magnitude for this project is expected to be between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. 3.0 Summary 3.1 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY, this is NOT a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bids, and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this RFI. 3.3 Please submit responses to this notice electronically (via email) to Eric G.
