- This is a notice of intent to sole source and is not a request for proposals or quotations. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the� �Government. �The Government will not reimburse the respondent for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) herby submits a notice of intent to award a firm-fixed price, sole source contract pursuant to FAR 13.106.1(b)(1) for the National Association of State Directors of Special Education, Inc. (NASDSE) Alexandria, VA , John Eisenberg, Executive Director, CAGE #1BGN9. NAICS Code for this requirement is 519190 The award is for a one (1) year base period, starting 13 April 2020 and four (4) option year periods, for an estimated contract value of $20,970.00.�� This notice hereby constitutes a synopsis of the options included in this requirement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantages to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Department of Defense Education Activity.
