Description

The Olympic National Forest, Washington, intends to acquire by contract services for wildlife snag creation.� Estimated quantity is: (1) Saw-topping, 90 trees; (2) High-girdling, 90 trees; and (3) Low-girdling, 90 trees.� Project area is in the Sitkum River watershed east of Forks, Washington.� Period for performance is from July 16, 2020, to October 31, 2020.� Between July 16th and September 23rd operations will not occur within two hours of sunrise or sunset in some of the units.� Project Manager is Ms. Karen Holtrop, 360-765-2206. The government will proceed to issue a solicitation as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), under FAR Part 13.� This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns.� Quoters will be evaluated on price, experience, and past performance. The Forest Service intends to award one contract.� Contract award will be to the quoter whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government.
