Description
The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Rees Scientific. This procurement will be for the purchase of a temperature monitor system and yearly monitor calibration service. Breakdown of items and services required below: Service: The contractor shall provide the following service: A comprehensive system test which verifies, calibrates and documents all system functions including readings, databases, alarms, dial-outs, outputs, reports, and user programming.� Annual calibration of temperature and humidity with traceable equipment (NIST: National Institute of Standards and Technology), copies of reference equipment calibration certificates and onsite refresher training at Preventative Maintenance visit. On-site service with 24/7 technical support. Service support will also offer full documentation to satisfy regulatory authorities. �Telephone assistance during normal business hours for services covered under this contract.� Telephone assistance shall be toll free to the Government.� Contractor shall respond to a service call within eight (8) normal business hours after telephone notification by the MIS Flight. Maintain the equipment in operating condition IAW original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Upgrades for software and equipment at no additional cost to the Government. � Supplies: The contractor shall provide the following supplies: �������������� 1.� 12 6-Volt 1.4 AMP battery�� Part number: BATT1001 �������������� 2. �90 3.6 volt Lithium Batter for Z3 wireless transmitters Part Number: Z3-BATT �������������� 3.� 5 Validations kits Centron Presidio Software Part Number: Val-Kit-Pres APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY:� This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is�31 March,�2020 at 10:00 A.M EST.
