NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. Description: Program Manager, Engineer Systems (ES), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting market research for the potential sources of sustainment parts for the�Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Advanced Bomb Suit (ABS). The intent of this market research is�to identify potential sources who can supply parts for the current MED- ENG EOD 10E bomb suit. �A�life cycle buy of parts will not be procured. Potential offerors with the ability to meet the requirements listed below are requested to provide�information on their solution in a Microsoft Word Document or Portable Document Format (PDF) File�in memorandum format. The minimum acceptable performance threshold requirements are indicated with the word �shall��throughout the text. Capabilities that are objectives rather than mandatory are noted using the�words �desired� or �desirable.� The system must meet the following characteristics: 1. The parts shall originate from a bomb suit that has been tested and certified by an independent�third party to the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Standard Bomb Suits and shall meet Public�Safety Bomb Suit NIJ Standard 0117.01. NIJ Test reports and certification will be required. 2. Shall be compatible with the Marine Corps current bomb suit MED-ENG EOD 10E. In order to help�assist, the National Stock Numbers for the current Marine Corps bomb suit are provided below: 8470-01-682-8363, EOD 10E (Small) 8470-01-682-8364, EOD 10E (Medium) 8470-01-682-8849, EOD 10E (Large) 8470-01-682-8850, EOD 10E (X-Large) 3. Shall be Berry Amendment Compliant.
