- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 610--19-201 Demolish Buildings: 1. It is the intention of VA Northern Indiana Health Care System to solicit bids for the following: The Contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary for the demolition and removal of buildings 35, 36, 37, 38, 75 ,94, 95, 96, 118 & 149. This will include, but is not limited to; Asbestos/Lead Paint abatement, utility disconnect, removal of existing roads/driveways, removal of trees, removal of buildings including all foundations, basement walls, footers, floor slabs and backfilling, grading and seeding for the project 610-19-201 Demolish Buildings 35,36,37,38,75,94,95,96,118&149 at VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion Campus, 1700 E. 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953. 2. All items being removed are to be disposed of by the contractor. 3. All above work to be done in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. with a standard size of $39.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue an IFB on or about 31 January 2020 via https://beta.sam.gov/search?index=opp . A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
