Description

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. Navy Medical Forces Atlantic intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Premier Shockwave in Pensacola, Florida as the sole source provider for the use of the Mobile OssaTron High Energy Shockwave Therapy device for scheduled patients.� The Contractor shall provide the OssaTron High Energy Shockwave Therapy device along with a representative and supplies to support Podiatry providers at the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Pensacola, FL.� The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i). This notice will be distributed solely through the betaSAM.gov Website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the betaSAM site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 532490. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined the Navy Medical Forces Atlantic requirement can only be provided by Priemer Shockwave, Inc. as they are the sole provider to provide the FDA approved mobile OssaTron device. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 0900 am, EST, 15 April 2020 by email to Regina Flowers, Contract Specialist, at regina.d.flowers.civ@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
