Description
FURNISH ALL EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, SUPPLIES, PERSONNEL AND LABOR NECESSARY TO PROVIDE FLOATING PLANT ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES. �This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, has a requirement for floating dock engine and transmission services as specified in the attached solicitation W912P820Q0029. Solicitation Number W912P820Q0029 is being issued as a Small Business Set Aside under a Request for Quote (RFQ) with the intent to issue Blanket Purchase Agreements under FAR Part 13.303.� The Government anticipates awarding one or more five (5) year BPA�s from this solicitation from which future BPA calls will be placed. �BPA�s will be awarded to responsible contractors whose offer conforms to the solicitation and has the lowest reasonable price. The BPA will have an estimated $3,000,000.00 ceiling. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clause are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular (FAC) 2005-97. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611� Ship Building and Repairing, with a size standard of 1,250 employees.� This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulations at FAR Part 12 � Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 � Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
