- The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Small Business to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. � The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333924 (Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing) and the size standard is 750 employees. The Army Corps of Engineers is seeking capability statements from potential vendors. The Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) of the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) requires an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) with autonomous capabilities to be used for research/testing/evaluation/demonstration. This UGV needs to have off-road, weather resistance capabilities for use in a wide variety of environments. The UGV must have a minimum all-terrain payload of 44lb and 4x4 drivetrain. The UGV must have a high-performance computing system with drivers for ROS and C++ for development of custom autonomous applications. Sources are being sought for this Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV). Requirement for potential vendors to be considered viable options are listed below: The UGV needs to have capabilities for off-road use, i.e., not limited to paved roads. Additional requirements for this UGV are the following: Minimum ground clearance of 5in Minimum payload of 44lb for all terrains 4x4 drivetrain Resistance to weather conditions Powered via lithium battery High-performance computing system with drivers for ROS and C++ System require an inertial measurement unit GPS capabilities High-performance attitude heading reference system Minimum 2cm RTK capabilities Long range communication functionality. UGV needs to have a standard runtime of at least 3 hours Submittal of capability statement does not guarantee selection.
