- Description
- The Library of Congress Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division (LOC-MBRS) requires specialized equipment repair services for its ARRILaser film recorder, manufactured by Arri, Inc. of Blauvelt, NY.� This state of the art film preservation technology is used to record digital motion pictures onto film stock for secure long-term archival storage.� The ARRILaser equipment requires maintenance support services from a factory trained engineer from Arri to maintain, upgrade and repair the AL253 ARRILaser. The Library intends to acquire the stated services from Arri, Inc.. The period of performance is July 14, 2020 to July 13, 2022, structured as a Base Year and one (1) Option Year. Arri shall provide the Library with the required service support and shall begin upon Award by the Library of Congress. Please see the attached draft Statement of Work for more details. The Library intends to fulfill this requirement by issuing a sole source contract award to Arri, Inc.. Any firm that wishes to be considered for this requirement must submit a capability statement that demonstrates its ability to meet all the requirements described in the attached draft Statement of Work. The capability statement must not exceed five (5) double-spaced pages and shall include the following information: 1) Company name, DUNS number, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address 2) Corporate structure (corporation, LLC, sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability partnership, professional corporation, etc.) 3) References, including name, phone number, and e-mail address of individuals who can verify the demonstrated capabilities indicated in the statement and 4) Resumes for key personnel who would work on the contract for those individuals with knowledge and experience relevant to the requirement described in the draft Statement of Work. (Resumes are not counted as part of the 5-page limit for capability statements.) In accordance with LC06.305, Availability of the Justification, the Justification and Approval to issue a sole-source contract to Arri, Inc.. is posted with this notice.
