Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest District 9 Office, has a requirement for Circuit Breaker Reconditioning for the Grand Coulee Power Office (GCPO). The project covers three major hydroelectric power generating plants, a pump generator plant (PGP) and four switchyards. Principal components of work consist reconditioning the existing GC low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) alternating current (AC) frame circuit breakers and molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs), which vary in age and condition, reflecting the era each was installed in. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the associated Small Business Size Standard is $7.5M. The applicable product code is J059, Maintenance and Repair of Electrical and Electronic Equipment. This requirement is a total small business set aside. Reclamation intends to award one Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, R1401020Q0009, (written) is approximately the April 15, 2020. The anticipated award date is approximately the last week of July 2020. Performance time is 3 years from date of award. Reclamation will consider all responsible sources who submit a timely quote that conforms to the solicitation. Prospective vendors may submit quotes only through mail or electronically by email to the Contract Specialist at dlong@usbr.gov. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to quoting on the requirement.
