SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE No. EQ10PCPB1-20-0004 This is not a solicitation.� This is a Sources Sought notice.� The information received is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract.� The information we receive from this Sources Sought notice will aid in the development of a forthcoming solicitation.� Please read the following and respond in accordance with the described requirements if your company is interested in proposing on this project. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The General Services Administration, Public Building Service, Northwest Arctic Region is seeking qualified and interested contractors to participate in a future acquisition for construction services at the James M. Fitzgerald� Federal Building and US Courthouse in Anchorage, Alaska; for construction of Court Security Officer (CSO) security stations on the 1st and 2nd floors.� The purpose of this construction is to upgrade the existing CSO security stations to provide for more efficient screening and additional security for CSOs. The new security stations shall have a controlled physical barrier between the secure and non-secure sides of the facility at each floor, to include a level III ballistic protected booth.� New x-ray screen machines (provided by the Government) and existing walk through metal detectors shall be installed by the Government.� Construction work includes: demolition and dispose of existing CSO station, demolition of partial height stud/GWB partition wall; saw cut existing floor tile as required for installation of post and column base, modify existing floor for floor anchors, prepare substrate for installation of raised floor in CSO Booth. Provide and install new CSO booth with lockable door and card reader.� The booth shall be enclosed in Level III Ballistic material, solid paneling and glazing. Provide and install a plastic laminate panel over ballistic level III millwork.� Retrofit transparent ballistic protection on inside of existing building windows.� The CSO Booth will house two CCTV monitors, telephone, intercom, duress switch.� Provide and install a wall mounted handrail inside CSO booth.� Provide and install user controlled weapons and electronics locker, manual security grille track, glass partitions, automated personnel gate, turnstile, VAV box, emergency panelboard.� Note, this description of construction work is not all inclusive of the construction requirements.� SUBMISISON REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Companies/interested parties having capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to provide the following information to the Contracting Officer.�� Business name, DUNS number, address, point of contact information (email and phone number) Statement of Capability � Company to provide experience and past performance on similar construction projects for construction of security stations in a multi-story occupied office building, federal building, airport or similar type of building.� Company shall provide date construction work completed, customer name, name of building, building address, and detailed description of project.� The detailed description of the project shall explain type of security equipment provided and installed, and any construction work associated with the project. A minimum of two (2), maximum of four (4) projects are to be submitted.� Each project submitted shall have no more than 3 pages for information as requested in item 2, Statement of Capability. If you are responding to this Notice from outside of the geographic location of the work, Company shall provide a short narrative detailing how the company proposes to mobilize and perform the work at a fair and reasonable price to the Government.
