This sources sought notice is for informational purposes only.� This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid.� It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government.� Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.� No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement.� Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. DLA Land & Maritime is conducting market research seeing to identify potential sources that can supply a five year supply of Rotary Pumps�for NSN 4320-01-318-6362 or an alternative product that could be procured in place of NSN 4320-01-318-6362.� The alternative product must have the same form, fit, function, and must be functionally compatible with all exisiting components of the weapon system.� Interested contractors are requested to review the below description carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions.� The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to gather information that will identify sources for the possiblity of a solicitation for the referenced item under a long term contract. NSN 4320-01-318-6362 is manufactured by Dover Energy, Inc. dba Blackmer Pump�(CAGE 07524), Rotary Pump, and is identified as part number E-4587.� The unit of issue for this NSN is EA.� The estimated yearly quantity required is 9�units.
