Description

The USDA Forest Service, East Side Acquisition Team (ESAT), Helena-Lewis & Clark National Forest�is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed price construction contract for the Thornquist Road (Forest Service Road 6473) relocation project. The project site is located in the White Sulphur Springs Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis & Clark National Forest - approximately 14 miles north of White Sulphur Springs in Meagher County, MT. The project consists of rerouting Forest Road No. 6473 and obliterating a portion of the existing road. Specific improvements to Forest Road No. 6473 include, but are not limited to: roadway excavation and embankment, clearing and grubbing, roadway obliteration, riprap, installation of new CSP culverts. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies, necessary to perform all work described in accordance with drawings and specifications of the contract.
