- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a fixed price contract, on a sole source basis, to�Rix Industries�in�Benicia, California, for Piston /Rod Assembly and Sensor Oil Pressure for the Mobile Nitrogen Gas Generator; P/N:3757AS100-2. These items are required to support the Fleet Readiness Center Aviation Support Equipment program. �������������� The Government intends to procure the above items under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" The Government does not own the data rights and a competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. �������������� This notification is not a request for competitive proposals.� However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Responses stating interest must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
