The Government will utilize the GVS OTA to award this effort. This Special Notice is for informational/planning purposes only and is not a Request for Project Proposal (RPP). A prototype project will not be awarded as a result of this announcement. The intent of this project is to reverse engineer an entire M109A7 Hull chassis structure, create a full Technical Data Package (TDP) of the hull chassis, and deliver two (2) chassis prototypes using data collected from reverse engineering the Hull Chassis. This effort is intended to include two phases: Phase 1 Development of the Technical Data Package and Phase 2 Assembling two (2) Chassis Prototypes. Phase 1: Development of the Technical Data Package (TDP) The Government will provide a M109A7 Hull Chassis as Government Furnished Property (GFP) and it is intended that the selected NAMC member shall complete the following in Phase 1: -Perform and provide a full detailed scan of Chassis -Disassemble the Chassis -Identify solutions for higher optimization of the Chassis structure -Create and deliver a full Technical Data Package including drawings of the entire Chassis Phase 2: Chassis Prototypes Assemble In Phase 2, the NAMC member will build two (2) Chassis Prototypes utilizing the TDP and drawings created in Phase 1 and deliver to the Government, The Government does not intend to pursue a Follow-on Production effort under the authority of 10 USC 2371b(f) for this effort.
