- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition to provide UST repair and upgrade project for Building 18 (Tank 1A-18N, 9-18S, 10-18S, 11-18S) and Building 2 (Tank 3A-2). The NAICS 541620 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $16.5 Million. If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. The Contractor will provide all materials, hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, transportation, supervision and technical expertise to UST repair and upgrade project for Building 18 (Tank 1A-18N, 9-18S, 10-18S, 11-18S) and Building 2 (Tank 3A-2). The Contractor must be able to meet the following: Environmental consultants with specialized underground storage tank system experience and knowledge. Properly credentialed to install, repair and program INCON tank monitoring systems, double walled fiberglass piping, valves and wiring. Must provide evidence that this work can be completed per North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) guidelines that have been implemented. Repairs conducted under the scope of the contract must result in passing tests for all currently enforceable NCDEQ regulations. Coordination of sump and line testing shall be included under the contract in addition to the cost associated with third party testing.
