Description
Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific would like to announce an Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium Quarterly Industry Day to be held virtually, on Monday and Tuesday, 27/28 April 2020. The event will include briefings on the IWRP, Consortium Operations, presentation of Technical Briefs, and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. Technical briefs presented during the IWRP Consortium Quarterly Industry Day will include the below eleven (11) topics. It is anticipated that the topics will be the basis of upcoming Request for Prototype Projects (RPP) to IWRP Consortium Members. This is not a Request for Prototype Projects, but for planning purposes only. A project will not be awarded from this announcement. In order to obtain more information regarding the below projects, you must be a member of the IWRP Consortium. For more information on becoming an IWRP consortium member, please visit https://www.theiwrp.org. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the IWRP Consortium, and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. The Government anticipates ten (10) Requests for Prototype Projects (RPPs) for white papers or enhanced white papers to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. RPP topics will include a technical brief and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. The RPP topics consist of the following: 1. 20-LANT-0124 Radio and Cryptography Technology: The government is seeking prototypes for advanced C-Band radio and cryptography technologies to enable Assured Command and Control and Integrated Fires technologies fielded on ships, aircraft, and land mobile units. 2. 20-LANT-0134 Automatic Identification System (AIS) on Unmanned Surface Vehicles/Vessels (USV): The primary objective of this prototype is developing for AIS the capability of manually and remotely switchable (between receive only and receive and transmit mode) from either on-board personnel, host ship, or remote operators. 3. 20-LANT-0135 Supercharger Install: Prototype the installation process of a supercharger kit on government vehicles while providing security and asset integrity. 4. 20-LANT-0136 Emerging Technology Sharing Portal: The government is seeking a user-driven information exchange portal on GovCloud for sharing and cataloging any mission-relevant system & reusable technologies components. Provide innovative, dynamic collaboration features across information content to bridge emerging technology providers with military users. 5. 20-LANT-0137 Defense Multi-Level Secure Phone: The prototype objective is to design and implement replacement multi-level secure phone system. 6. 20-LANT-0138 SIPR / NIPR on a Single Device: The prototype objective is to refine, implement, and deploy mobile phones (and possibly tablets) with unclassified and classified data access. 7. 20-LANT-0139 F-35 Asset Tracking System: The objective is an ability to track and maintain status of the various hardware, software, and devices that comprise the system in-development. These devices may be located within a lab space or in the field. 8. 20-LANT-0140 F-35 Portable Memory Device Reader: The government is seeking a prototype to interface with the current hardware system (the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) using a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Portable Memory Device (PMD) Reader. The PMD Reader solution is to read data from the storage device and transfer to the current hardware or storage service. 9. 20-LANT-0141 Talon Family of Systems: The government is seeking to prototype ruggedized TALON Free Space Optics terminal sets to provide Low Probability of Intercept / Low Probability of Detection, high bandwidth, point-to-point or a multimode relay transport layer. 10. 20-LANT-0142 iNavy Cloud Migration: iNAVY (the designated SharePoint Portal Solution for the Navy) requires a Cloud Migration strategy / execution plan for content migration from the current iNAVY SharePoint portal environment to a cloud-based future state. The Government anticipates one (1) Pre-Solicitation Collaboration (PSC) which may lead to a future RPP to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. The PSC topic will include a technical brief and one-on-one break-out session. The PSC topic consists of the following: 1. AppX: The government is seeking to prototype an Application eXchange (AppX) for secure application delivery to service member owned devices (BYOD) which permits granular security policy on mobile application containers (no Mobile Device Management / Agents).
