Description

The U.S. Army Garrison, West Point, NY is seeking sources to provide all necessary labor and consumable materials for the removal of a broken down cart washer that is no longer needed which was installed back in 1995 during a renovation. The cart washer needs to be removed, floor repaired and space converted into a storage area at the Cadet Mess Hall Bldg 745, at West Point, NY 10996. Specification: Contractor must disconnect and cap off all utilities currently going from Cadet Mess building to cart washer. (Alvey Washing Equipment Co. Model �KS-88, Volts 480, AMPS 21.5, HZ 60) Cut up and remove all parts of current cart washer and debris from cart wash room. Repair hole in floor left from cart washer removal, fill in hole left from cart washer with gravel, cover gravel with 6� of concrete, and smooth out to match level of existing tile. (See attached photos) The contractor will be responsible for providing truck to transport cart washer parts and debris to designated area. All work to be performed during normal business hours Monday � Friday. The work shall be accomplished whenever normal class schedules do not impede the work, and the dis assembly noise (drilling, chiseling, etc.) cannot impede classes. Classes are scheduled from August through June and typically heavy foot traffic times are on an hourly basis while Cadets are travelling between classes 0700 - 1600. Request work be completed when the Academy does not have classes scheduled. See Statement of Work and Performance Work Statement.
