Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Brand Name Oral Solicitation in order to identify any SDVOSBs vendors that have the resources and capabilities for Stryker Lucas Chest Compression Units. This Chest Compression Unit is for the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Product: Chest Compression Units Salient Characteristics Requirements: Must include Delivery time After Receipt of Order (ARO) Delivery fee Warranty Brand Product Number Description - Chest Compression Unit Quantity Unit Stryker 99576-000063 LUCAS 3, v3.1 Chest Compression System, Includes Hard Shell Case, Slim Back Plate, (2) Patient Straps, (1) Stabilization Strap, (2) Suction Cups, (1) Rechargeable Battery and Instructions for use with each device. 3 EA � 11576-000071 LUCAS External Power Supply 6 EA � 11576-000080 LUCAS 3 Battery - Dark Grey - Rechargeable LiPo 3 EA � 11576-000060 LUCAS Desk-Top Battery Charger 1 EA This pre-solicitation notice is not a request for quotations; Interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT April 13, 2020 at 12:00 pm EST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C24520Q0360 Pre-Solicitation Notice. If after April 13, 2020 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Dept of VA will conduct an Oral Solicitation for Brand Name to SDVOSBs. This Pre-Solicitation Notice is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this notice will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed- price contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition. INTERESTED & CAPABLE RESPONSES: NCO 5 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide this product.
