- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment, implied or otherwise by the Government, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR part 10, Market Research and FAR part 19, Small Business Programs. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered market research and used for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. 1. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for lodging services needed in support of COVID-19 efforts in Albuquerque, NM. The 377 MSG/PKA at Kirtland Air Force Base seeks sources with the capability and interest to provide the following: Lodging for as many as 350 travelers to Albuquerque/Kirtland AFB, NM. Lodging facility with a restaurant is highly desired. If restaurant is not part of facility, numerous restaurants nearby are preferred. Please see the draft Performance Work Statement for a description of the likely required services and deliverables. 377 MSG/PKA anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. NAICS code is anticipated to be 721110, size standard $35 million.� 2. INSTRUCTIONS: All interested respondents capable of providing lodging are invited to respond electronically with a Statement of Capabilities (SOCs) demonstrating the ability to meet the draft PWS. Statement of Capabilities are limited to 2 pages, and should address the following: 1. How many lodging properties does the company have in the Albuquerque metro area? 2. How many rooms does the company have the capability to offer (rooms may be single or double occupancy)? 3. How many rooms is the company willing to set-aside in a block, and how long will the block will be held for? 4. Is the company willing to comply with Air Force regulations concerning Fire, Safety, Public Health and Security requirements and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards? 5. Does the facility have a restaurant on-site that is open for operations? If so, what are the hours for takeout? If not, what restaurants are available near-by and the approximate proximity? 6. Does the facility provide wi-fi to hotel guests at no additional cost? 7. How far is the lodging facility from Kirtland Air Force Base? 8. Does the company offer shuttle services? 9. Are there any aspects of the PWS that your company is unable to fulfill? 10. Do you have any feedback for the 377 MSG/PKA about the PWS? Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and �indicate business size (small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone) using NAICS 721110, size standard $35 million. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision.
