Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY.� It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make the appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 562910 Remediation Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 is seeking a source to provide services for �SURVEY INSPECTIONS, RE-INSPECTIONS AND SIX (6) MONTH PERIODIC CONDITION SURVEILLANCE OF ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS� to be performed at VA San Diego Healthcare System as specified in the Statement of Work. The Contractor shall conduct an on-site six (6) month periodic survey inspection of the current condition of asbestos at the facility to include, but not be limited to previously-identified asbestos containing materials (ACM), asbestos containing construction materials (ACCM), and assumed asbestos containing materials (AACM), herein collectively as �ACM� present in the facility. This survey shall be scheduled to occur at a frequency of one time every 6 months to ensure compliance with VA policy and adopted AHERA guidelines and requirements. Additional initial survey inspections or re-inspections may be warranted if deemed necessary (e.g. in areas where ACM was not previously identified or known present) as directed by the COR or identified by the Contractor. A minimum of two complete asbestos assessment survey inspections shall be completed within a 12-month timeframe Please see attached draft of statement of work (SOW) for pertinent information that details the Government�s needs. All interested parties who can provide these boiler services shall provide a written response to this notice and include the following: Company name, Address, Point of contact, Phone, fax, and email, DUNS number, Cage Code, Tax ID Number, Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business [NOTE: If you are a SDVOSB or VOSB, you must submit your certification from the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/)], Provide a copy of your company�s current Representations and Certifications from www.sam.gov, Provide evidence your firm can provide the requested service, to include past and/or current contracts for the same services; licenses / certifications required to perform this service; years of experience providing Trane Chiller services, and any other compelling evidence to help the Government determine your company�s capabilities; and If possible, provide an estimate cost for this service. � All responses must be received no later than April 20, 2020, 11:00 AM Pacific Time (PT).
