Description
1. Due to the high security requirements in place to enter MCB Quantico, VA, all prospective Offerors who do not have a DBIDS card for MCB Quantico must go to the Visitor Control Center (VCC) to receive a Pass for access to the installation. Pre-registration on the DBIDS web site is required as it expedites the process for receiving the Pass. 2. The Visitor Control Center (VCC) address is: 27000 telegraph Rd, Stafford, VA 22554 (Building 27175T). Please note that VCC is open Monday-Friday during 0600 - 1400. 3. Directions to VCC from I-95 or Route 1 are found at attachment 1. 4. See below for DBIDS information and pre-enrollment website links: MCB Quantico DBIDS Information Website: https://www.quantico.marines.mil/Base-Access/ DBIDS pre-enrollment website: https://dbids-global.dmdc.mil/enroll#!/ 5. The Site visit is set for 20 April 2020, 9:00 AM. a. All attendees shall meet at: Bldg. 3077, MCB Quantico, VA 22134 b. No other site visits will be scheduled. c. Location map for Bldg. 3077 is found at Attachment D of the Solicitation. 6. DBIDS Sponsor is as follows: LCDR Lavell Walson NAVFAC Washington MCB Quantico Office: (703) 784-5445 Email:� lavell.b.walson@navy.mil 7. Due to the high volume of applicants for DBIDS cards and passes, MCB Quantico VCC is experiencing extremely long wait times. Contractors should plan accordingly. 8. Due to the COVID-19 conditions, MCB Quantico has implemented Base access restrictions. As such, Contractors who would like to attend the site visit for this solicitation must request a Site Visit Letter from the Contract Specialist. The request should be sent via an email to Maria Caceres at maria.caceres1@navy..mil with the name of the Contractor along with the names of the attendees for the company who wish to attend. Requests for the Site Visit Letter shall be requested no later than Friday, 17 April 2020, 2:00 PM. The Letters will be sent out to the Contractor�s POC named in the email request. The Contractor�s attendees will need take this letter with them to gain access to the site visit. 9. Although the site visit is not mandatory, contractors are encouraged to attend to ensure proper measurements and conditions that may affect the offer.� 10.� Contractor�s will be required to wear cloth face coverings at the site visit. The Contractor is responsible for providing their own face coverings. The Government will not provide face coverings nor will they reimburse the Contractor for the face coverings. Face coverings worn on Marine Corps property by any individual shall be conservative in appearance, not offensive, and conform to CDC guidance.
