- Description
- The, vendor, I.H.S. Markit (formerly Informa Economics), Inc., will provide the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers� Institute for Water Resources, the following commercial reports and forecast in the form of a subscription. The reports and forecasts are to be provided for the contract base year (Beginning 23 April 2020), with an option to renew in each of two succeeding option years. Product: The I.H.S. Markit Agriculture Transportation Forecast subscription includes the following products:� a. Transportation Research Monthly Outlook � Monthly short-term (one-year) detailed forecast reports for domestic and export barge and rail movements of wheat, feed grains and soybeans, to be provided via electronic mail to the Internet address Mark.Pointon@usace.army.mil, with the understanding that such reports may then be shared with Corps of Engineers� Headquarters, Division and District analysts who have a need for grain transportation information.� b. Long-Term Forecast Outlook � Semi-annual long-term (five-year) forecast reports for export of wheat, feed grains, and soybeans, by coastal reach (Atlantic, Center Gulf, Texas Gulf, Pacific Northwest, and Great Lakes), to be provided via electronic mail to the Internet address Mark.Pointon@usace.army.mil, with the understanding that such report may then be shared with Corps of Engineers� Headquarters, Division and District analysts who have a need for grain transportation information.� c. Reports � Monthly and weekly reports on production for corn, wheat and soybeans and for the transportation outlook.
