INTRODUCTION The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to award a contract for the AN/ALQ-99 Band 5/6 Output Traveling Wave Tube (OTWT) second manufacturing source effort. �ELIGIBILITY The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is 5960. �The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334419, with a size standard of 750 employees.� PROGRAM BACKGROUND The AN/ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System (TJS) is flown on the EA-18G and provides vital Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) jamming capability against radar and communications targets in the suppression of enemy air defenses. This low density, high demand AEA capability is vital to the EA-18G.� The program requires the qualification of a second source to produce Band 5/6 Output Traveling. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The anticipated period of performance will be from Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 through 2021. ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE The contract type is anticipated to be Cost Plus Fixed Fee. � REQUIRED CAPABILITIES This procurement will consist of providing three (3) Band 5/6 OTWTs within fifteen (15) months after contract award. The Government requirement is to obtain a second source supplier that can ultimately meet the Governments requirement to produce three (3) Band 5/6 OTWTs per month. Interested parties should have the capability to provide a complete solution for this requirement.� No partial solutions will be accepted.
