Description
The NGA has a need to establish absolute networks in Paraguay totaling a minimum of 20 absolute stations and in the state of Paran, in Brazil, totaling a minimum of 20 absolute stations. The stations shall lie within 5 degrees North latitude to 35 degrees South latitude and 35-75 degrees West longitude. The network shall be established using an A-10 gravimeter. The Contractor shall survey a minimum of 300 new gravity stations in the country of Paraguay or Brazil. See attached for additional details. Questions are due no later than Tuesday, 20 April 2020 at 0900am CST. Questions and Answers are being published to this notice; no other changes have been made. 2) It is through the website that I should ""sign in"" and then be able to post my proposal for this offer? Are there standardized forms to fill up? We could not understand the way to post the proposal. Answer: Proposal Instructions are detailed in the solicitation provision 52.212-1. 3) In the Base Year, item 2, it says to survey 300 points in Paraguay or Brazil. There is no specification of the state. So, I assume that it can be in Minas Gerais. Answer: Yes this is an acceptable proposed survey area for this region. 4) But, in the items 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 it says surveys in the state of Paran. This state, next from So Paulo to the south, has a good gravity coverage. Based on the item 2, can I assume Minas Gerais instead? Answer: This is also acceptable here.
