DESCRIPTION: This is a sources sought. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: Transmission, Mechanical Input NSN: 1615-01-317-6446 Output NSN: 1615-01-317-6446 Input P/N: 145D1300-9 Output P/N: 145D1300-9 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 10 � Maximum 105 each Maximum of 105 each includes quantity of 88 US and a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 17 each The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The Transmission, Mechanical is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and must be overhauled by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or other approved source. The OEM is Boeing Helicopter Inc. (CAGE 77272). The other approved source is COLUMBIA HELICOPTERS (CAGE 7W206). Depot Maintenance Requirement (DMWR) DMWR- 55-1615-321, Revision Date: 04/15/2016, No Change #, has been identified for this requirement. Interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio economic status as applicable. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures at: http://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR. The solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated on the solicitation.
