Description

The mission & Installation Contracting Command - Fort Knox (MICC-Knox) intends to award on a sole source basis a contract to City of Chicago,� 78 E.� Washington Street, Chicago, Illinois 60602. �Under FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. �The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) of the City of Chicago is the host and sole vendor authorized to rent exhibit space for this event. The US Army Recruiting Battalion National Convention Division Chicago is ONLY an attendee to this event. �To inform or to promote to the general public in the Chicago Illinois area about the opportunities and benefits the Army has to offer.� Event date will be on 8 -12 July� 2020 and event location will be within City of Chicago. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) and a solicitation will not be issue.� Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition for this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. � If no affirmative written response is received by 27 April 2020 at 16:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), award will be made without further notice. � Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
