- Description
- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the following in support of the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) Oceanographic�Department: Provide operational and technical support services, including Custom Software Programming Support, for Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) Applications Software utilized by the Department during the period of performance (POP). Provide support for documenting satellite and in situ data requirements, hardware purchases, data application upgrades, and data flow engineering. Attend Government agency meetings and liaise with the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) in the Washington, D.C. area to gather information on satellite related activities and plans pertinent to the NAVOCEANO mission. Provide integration, installation, testing, and troubleshooting support services for physical oceanographic instrumentation. Provide operational, technical, and custom software programming support services for ocean databases, including data processing, data quality control, and database engineering. Provide documentation and custom software programming support services for transitions of operational oceanographic technologies to the Fleet through the Ocean Atmospheric Master Library (OAML) process. Provide comprehensive technical process documentation support services for the Department. Provide database loading services for oceanographic databases. Provide technical support services for rapid transitions of new and emerging software technology requirements into operational use in the Oceanographic Department, in response to emergent Fleet needs. Provide tracking of task order progress through the contract Task Deliverable Status (TDS) process: The Contractor shall provide a biweekly TDS Report that shall be presented by the contractor and jointly reviewed with the Government at biweekly TDS meetings during the POP, as defined in PART 5, Section 5.9 in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
