Description

This sources sought is being issued for planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The CT National Guard will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this notice. The intent of this notice is to identify any commercial vendors capable of providing the requirements described below. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 315990. � The requirement will consist of: FACE COVERINGS for the CTARNG during the COVID-19 pandemic. Any commercially procured face covering should meet or exceed the following minimum specifications: 1. Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face. 2. Be secured with ties, ear loops, or wrap?around fabric. 3. Include multiple layers of fabric. 4. Allow for breathing without restriction. 5. Be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to shape. 6. Colors should be ""Earth Tone"" (Army: black, olive green, brown, tan). 7. In addition to CDC requirements, service recommendations are Anti?Microbial Technology and Durable through a minimum of 75 home launderings. 8. Reference CDC guidance for more information: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019?ncov/prevent?getting?sick/diy?cloth?face?coverings.html Interested sources shall indicate that they are capable of providing the required supplies and must provide: (1) Full name and address of the firm; (2) Cage and DUNS number; (3) Size status (i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, etc.); (4) If items are currently�in stock. No other information is required at this time. DO NOT SUBMIT A NARRATIVE, PROPOSAL, OR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AT THIS TIME. Interested sources should indicate interest to the Contracting Officer as early as possible but no later than 11:00 AM EST on 5 May 2020. Electronic submissions are the only acceptable means, do not mail or fax your submission. Questions must be sent directly to eric.s.bailey.civ@mail.mil and received prior to 10:00 AM EST, 4 May 2020. This market research is for informational and planning purposes only. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted. Upon review of industry response to this sources sought synopsis, the Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government's best interest.
