Description
DLA Aberdeen intends to acquire spare parts for the AN/VSQ-6B Vehicle Optics Sensor System (VOSS). This VOSS spare parts effort is to identify interest is for the National Stock Numbers (NSNs) listed in the attachment below in support of one-time purchase contract(s). The VOSS is a remotely-controlled, gyro-stabilized, telescoping, high-resolution, zoom capable multi-sensor (daylight camera, night vision camera, thermal imaging camera) surveillance system that uses existing commercial camera technology. The purpose of this survey is to locate sources that have the capability to provide VOSS spare assembly parts and components, and to provide part data for tracking and management actions. The Government does not own the Technical Data Package (TDP) for any of these components.� This survey is published in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, (Market Research). This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The US Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in responding or in any subsequent exchange of information. Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The US Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from industry, including small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms. Potential vendors should provide information, data or documentation, which shows that they have previously Produced or repaired VOSS components. For example, VOSS components for US Government contract(s). Information received will be reviewed for form, fit and function. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked.
