Description

In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy Section 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to�contract on a single source basis with RLH Industries, Inc.�based out of�Orange, California. The FAA has a requirement�for 6RU DIN Rail Housings (P/N: DRH-N-1-332) for the Data Communications Equipment (DCE) Modernization project. The base requirements for DCE Modernization project included a COTS enclosed DIN Rail mount chassis with a windowed door that latches and the enclosure must mount in a 19� rack. The DRH-N-1-332 is a customized version of RLH Industries DRH-N-1 and was created specifically for the DCE Modernization project. RLH Industries, Inc. is the only known firm capable of meeting the FAA�s specific requirement within the required timeframe.��Accordingly, a competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.��If you have any questions, these may be submitted to the Primary POC, Paul Rosengrant (Paul.R.Rosengrant@faa.gov), by no later than 5 p.m. (EST) on May 13, 2020.
