Description
The U.S. Government currently occupies apartment housing space in a building under lease that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternate space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating. 1. The leased premises needs to be located near: Harborview Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center, and the VA Puget Sound Health Care System - Seattle Division. 2.� Area hospitals trainees rotate to and housing requirements: a. It is preferred that the apartments are within a safe walking distance to the area hospitals trainees rotate. b. The neighboring streets surrounding: - Harborview Medical Center:��Alder St., Broadway, E. Spruce St. - Swedish Medical Center:��Madison St., Boren Avenue, Boylston Ave., Broadway, 10th Ave., 12th Ave., E. Terrace St. - VA Puget �Sound Health Care System Seattle Division:� Beacon Ave. S, Spokane St. Maximum extended delineated area shall not extend beyond the streets listed: North:�East Aloha Street East:�23rd Ave South West:�I-5 South:�S. McClellan St c. Sufficient double and single room apartments to house female and male trainees: 8 double and 3 single apartments. d. Utilities and services in the apartments must include: heating equipment, electricity, water, sewer, trash removal, bi-weekly janitorial services, secure parking with sufficient lighting. e. Furnishings and Maintenance: Apartments must be fully furnished with beds, couch, coffee table, chairs, end tables, dining room table and chairs and lamps, considered normal and acceptable within hotel industry. Apartments must also include major kitchen appliances consisting of a stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, and utensils. In addition to furnishings each apartment must include installed smoke detectors, safe secure parking for each occupant, local telephone service, television, and reliable wireless internet service. 3.� The Government�s desire is for a full service lease to include base rent, CAM, utilities and janitorial for a term not to exceed five (5) years with Government termination rights and located within a defined delineated area in Seattle Washington. 4.��Offered space must meet Government requirements per the terms of the Government Lease. Interested respondents may include building owners and representatives with the exclusive right to represent building owners. Representatives of building owners must include the exclusivity granting the exclusive right to represent the building owner with their response to this advertisement.
