- The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Asheville VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1100 Tunnel Road in Asheville, NC 28805 will be soliciting quotes for an Electrical Coordination Study. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, management and supervision necessary to perform the Electrical Coordination Study in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation and resulting contract. The service will require one-line diagrams, short circuit study, arc flash hazard analysis, arc flash labeling, protective device coordination study, and other analyses and recommendations. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24620Q0392 will be issued on or about March 23, 2020. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The estimated period of performance is April 15, 2020 through April 14, 2021 (or contract award date to 1 year from contract award date). The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330 Engineering Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $41.5 million. The classification code is B599 Other Special Studies & Analyses. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. In order to be considered an SDVOSB, the vendor MUST be verified in the Vendor Information Pages, https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. All quoters are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Contract Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
