Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from market research will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for a welding program for the inmates held in the custody of the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, located at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix, Joint Base MDL, New Jersey.� The requirement for these services will consist of an estimated 960 sessions per year. Each session will be defined as approximately seven (1 hour sessions) hours in length. The services will be required 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holiday. The schedule is subject to be adjusted to meet program requirements and the needs of the institution.� A mutually agreed upon schedule between the contractor and the Bureau of Prisons will be determined following award of a contract. There will be an estimated maximum of 20 inmate participants per session. The performance period will be for a base year, period from the Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through 12 months from the EDOA, four (4) possible 12-month option periods for renewal� A GOVERNMENT SOLICITATION DOCUMENT TO PROVIDE THESE SERVICES IS BEING DEVELOPED, AND A CONTRACT MAY OR MAY NOT RESULT. MARKET RESEARCH IS BEING CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE INTEREST AND CAPABILITY OF POTENTIAL SOURCES FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. �All future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site.
