Page 1 of 2 SOURCES SOUGHT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research through this sources sought notice to help determine the availability of qualified Businesses, registered under NAICS code 561210 Facilities Support Services ($32.5M), capable of repairing over 400 fire suppression doors and meet the following qualifications: Has at least five years of experience installing and inspecting doors per NFPA 80 and 101; Contractor is certified through Door and Hardware Institute, (DHI) for FDAI (Fire + Egress Door Assembly Inspector); Has employees with thirty hours of OSHA training; Five years of relevant past performance; Capable of starting within ten days of award notice; and Capable of recertifying fire doors per NFPA 80 and 101. All respondents shall indicate: The size status of their business How they will be performing over 50% of the work IAW Limitations on Subcontracting Which relevant licenses and certifications its company and/or employees have Failure to provide the above information may result in the potential offeror being considered incapable of meeting the VA s needs If the contractor can provide the above services, please indicate in your response that the above requirements can be met and provide a copy of all certifications listed above. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responses.
