- Description
- This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that Lajes Field, Terceira, Azores, Portugal intends to solicit proposals and award a single award firm fixed price contract using FAR Parts 12, 13, 37, with FAR Part 15 evaluation procedures. The contract term will be a base period of eleven (12) months plus four (4) one (1) year options; beginning on 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2025. This synopsis is for a solicitation for the following: Non-Personal Service: The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed at Lajes Field, in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. The contractor shall accomplish all cleaning tasks and be required to provide and replenish soap and paper products in all restrooms identified in Appendices A and B, in order to meet the requirements of Performance Work Statement (PWS). Minimum cleaning frequencies are established in Appendix A, Air Force Custodial Common Levels of Service Standards. Facility cleaning levels and estimated square footages are established in Appendix B, Estimated Square Footages and Cleaning Level. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, final governing standards for Portugal, instructions, and commercial practices. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) assigned to this acquisition is 561720. The anticipated solicitation release date on or about 01 June 2020. The closing date, time for submission of offers, as well as the date and time for pre-proposal conference will be contained in the solicitation package. Solicitation documents will be posted on the Government Point of Entry located at https://beta.sam.gov and to the local chamber of commerce in Angra do Heroismo. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Potential offerors MUST register at https://beta.sam.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. All contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the System for Award Management (SAM) at web site https://www.sam.gov. THIS INFORMATION IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION ONLY. The contemplated contract is to be performed in Azores, Portugal. In accordance with (IAW), DFARS 252.225- 7042, ""Authorization to Perform"" - The Offeror has been duly authorized to operate and to do business in the country or countries in which the contract is to be performed.
