Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD � SOLE SOURCE � The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, MD intends to negotiate a three-month standalone purchase order bridge with Hydro Service & Supplies, Inc., P.O. Box 12197, RTP, NC 20899-0001.� The applicable authority is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).� A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared.� The NIST has a sole source requirement for the continuation of Preventive Maintenance Services for the Ultra Pure Water System in Building 215. This purchase order will be a �bridge� while NIST solicits and award a new contract for these services.�� This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers.� A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.� The North American Industry Classification System code is 811219 with a size standard of $22M.� If you have any questions or concerns regarding this requirement, please contact Kathy.Thomerson@nist.gov or Sandra.Smith@nist.gov.
